mies is a tropical homage to the iconic barcelona stool by mies van der rohe. created by arthur casas for the former kaa restaurant in são paulo, the stool echoes the x-shaped structure of the barcelona when viewed from the front. in this version, stainless steel and leather are replaced by solid wood and rustic linen, both crafted by hand.
