riva is a brazilian brand specialized in working with fine metals. starting from three existing molds—one oval and two circular sizes—arthur casas designed the jacaranda wood bases to create the centerpiece. the piece combines the natural, striped grain of the wood with the austerity of stainless steel. its name pays tribute to the jacaranda tree, which has inspired countless design pieces.
