The Shops bench is a striking piece of furniture that is created by the contrast between two very different materials: a thin, perfectly cut sheet of graphite-toned aluminum, and a thick, organically edged pequiá wood log. It was designed for the walkways of a small shopping center designed by Arthur Casas in Jardim Paulistano, São Paulo. Because of its public space-oriented nature, it is a piece that has a strong presence, and that can be used both in an indoor and outdoor setting, as a garden bench or in conjunction with a table. Each bench will have its own unique personality given the peculiarities of the cut and veins of the log used.
We take care in the choice of each piece of wood used and certify that they have traceability and provenance.
