cobogó: fired ceramic
zazie was born from the intersection of experimentation, design, and technique. its conception began unexpectedly during a layover in paris, while the studio objeto team was en route to asia in search of knowledge from local furniture factories. named after the irreverent character from the french cartoon zazie, who faces challenges and finds creative solutions, the product reflects that same spirit of freedom and versatility.
developed in collaboration between studio objeto and manufatti – a company specialized in handcrafted ceramic products – zazie is a perforated element that adapts to multiple compositions. with metal inserts, the holes at its ends allow for precise placement of each piece, creating geometric shapes, dynamic patterns, and varying heights depending on the project.
more than a traditional cobogó, zazie is a modular system that transforms interiors and facades. in some configurations, it allows light and air to pass through; in others, it creates visual barriers without completely blocking the view. like a puzzle, its design enables endless possibilities, making each arrangement unique and personalized.
zazie is not just a building element – it is an invitation to experimentation and creative freedom.
