match is a piece without rules—both in style and function. modular in design, it adapts to a variety of spatial layouts. it can divide environments, allowing seating on both sides; it can be used as a sofa bed, include a footrest, be short or long. this versatility comes from the connectors on all sides of each module. its name is a playful nod to the phonetics of “mahjong,” the chinese board game. like in the game, our match allows for diverse and ever-changing configurations, so that each piece can fulfill its best purpose. its relaxed appearance comes from the pillow top that wraps around it.
