when lurdes commissioned a new home from architect arthur casas, she requested a custom vanity where she could get ready and store her makeup. the architect designed the piece with a multifunctional approach in mind: all contents remain hidden when not in use, allowing it to function as a desk or even a bedside table. we later refined the design by adding LED lighting, adjustable mirror height, built-in power outlets and USB port, and suede-lined compartments for storing jewelry.
the piece was conceived from the start as a versatile product—serving not only as a vanity but also as a writing desk or nightstand.
